Welcome. We’re glad you found us.

Finding out you have breast cancer is life changing. Understanding how best to share this news with your kids can feel nearly impossible.

I wrote this book to help families deal with the news that breast cancer is a part of their lives. Please check out the “Book” tab on this site for a free preview of one of the chapters.

We have posted links to helpful resources, downloads for you and your kids to work through – as well as shared a little bit about our story. In particular, I encourage you to check out Rethink Breast Cancer. Rethink sponsored the creation of this book and they work specifically with the under 40(ish) crowd who has been affected by breast cancer by providing resources and support.

We welcome you to link a video explaining how you shared the news with your kids in our “Video” section. Or maybe you’d like to share something your family did that was really helpful in getting you through a tough moment. Together our stories can help support one another and help our kids understand what we’re going through.
